P.R.I.D.E is a fully funded program from the NJEA intended to let the citizens in our community know that we take special PRIDE in all that we do. 

Some of the activities that are sponsored with P.R.I.D.E. funds include:

Light refreshments for parent volunteers at the book fair, at conferences, Art Goes to School, Art Show, dances, portfolio celebrations, senior citizen pen pal visits, Mother/Daughter tea, gym night, band concerts, food festivals, and country fairs.

(Light refreshments could be fruit or veggie trays, cheese and crackers, water bottles, etc. Paper products are a separate request but have also been approved in the past.)

Disposable cameras to be provided to parents at a concert or play

Photo paper

Flowers as a thank-you to parent volunteers

Folders for parent information

CDs and DVDs that were made for parents.

Books for Read Across America

Refreshments for kindergarten round-up

Fruit trays and paper products for the volunteer tea, and give-away items.
